Went to the Colorado Undergroun Music Awards last weekend. It was fun but I was a bit confused. How exactly are rap-metal band considered to be "underground"? Don't we hear that style of music on mainstream radio all the time?

The MC for the event was a bit of a jackass too...I know that if I was getting an award I'd be more than a little disappointed in having my name or band name mispronounced. That and the fact that he had no clue what he was talking about, more than a little annoying.

Just found out today that I might have to go back out to NYC in a week or two. Great, I get to spend my Christmas season worrying about dying in a plane crash.

Yup, I switched my web hosting provider. Sorry to those who got 404 messages, I didn't get a chance to set everything up fast enough. I've been in NYC for the past 2 weeks, right in the heart of Manhattan.

Some new music anouncements, check out my music section.

Busy, busy, busy! In addition to doing a lot of traveling this month, I've been very busy working on music and when I've not been out of town or working on that I've been hitting the drink a wee bit too much. Hope to be more social with everyone soon but I'm busy, busy, busy!

No words can convey the shock and horror I felt as I watched the despicable terrorist attack that happened on the 11th of September. The largest loss of American lives in a single day in the entire history of our nation, this tragedy first shocked, saddened, and then angered me.

Our daily concerns and and divisiveness are trivial in light of the reality we are now faced with.

Some people have referred to this attack as "Pearl Harbor 2" because of the similarities.

I feel no pity for those foolish enough to have done this for the one thing you can count on is the patriotism of a people brought together by a common strife.

I'm fed up with people talking about changing the music scene out here and no one either having the talent or the motivation to do so. Even though funding is at n alltime low, I'm going to concentrate on pushing my label and various music projects more than before in the upcoming year.

The Sister Machine Gun Record Release Show in Chicago kicked ass. Chris, Lisa and the whole Positron! crew were great.

Still jobless...WTF? Maybe soon I'll be homeless too? Let's hope not. Time to see if I'm as strong as I say I am and can survive.

I still going to Chicago, goddamnit!

So you would think with all the spare time I've had lately I'd write more and get some music done. For those of you who don't know, I had the pleasure of getting laid of on the 15th and have been jobless for 2 weeks now. I won't let it get me down though..mostly because I'm flying out to Chicago for the record release show for Sister Machine Gun's new album *applaud* *applaud* in April. Chicago is the city were you're most likely to run into a famous industrial musician on any given day so it should be fun fun fun.

Here's something that's bugged me for awhile; body modification for the sake of being popular. The people in my scene are just as guilty as any other as far as trying to be "the coolest". The first thing, I totally one hundred percent support people who express their individuality but when you're doing body modification because evenone else is then you're sheep just like the people you make fun of. Lately, the popular trends around here are play piercings and scarification. First off, if you're gonna get pierced, get something real that you can keep. The stupidest thing I've seen in awhile is people having these fake piercings for a day and then having little scars after they're gone. If you're gonna get scars from it you might as well get something you can keep! Personally, I've never been a fan of scarification...most of my scars I wish I could get rid of. The thing that pisses me off more than either of these are people who get meaningless, stupid fucking tattoos. There's only one tattoo on my body that I regret, it's the first one I got. The rest I adore because they each have a special meaning to me and show an aspect of my personality. I didn't get some lame fucking tribal tattoo that seems to be so in vogue right now. The point is, if you're going to be self-expressive then EXPRESS YOURSELF instead of copying a trend.

Well, I've been in hiding lately, nobody has seen much of me except my roommate and Jolene. My roommate finally tried some of my absinthe. Oops, yeah I guess I forgot to mention that I've been getting some really nice absinthe from Europe :)

Anyway, right now I'm waiting for some more of my studio equipment to show up, what an excuse to skip work!
